Welcome to Cao Lab at Weill Cornell Medical College
Jan 2025: We are hiring a postdoctoral fellow! Highly motivated individuals with an interest in stem cell biology, tissue regeneration, and heart disease and repair are particularly encouraged to apply.
The Cao Lab is part of the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) and the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at Weill Cornell Medical College. The lab focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms of innate tissue regeneration, with an emphasis on heart regeneration. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach that combines zebrafish models, human stem cells, cardiac organoids, explant tissue culture, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, chemical screening, live imaging, and genome editing techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9.
